I am a past election candidate, disabled military veteran, aspiring city official, dedicated community volunteer, loving husband, and proud father. I serve on our local Substance Abuse Policy Board as a community representative and assist with grant reviews. I collaborate with Scott County Schools, Toyota, and others on an ongoing project used to determine local needs. I attended government committee functions with the Chamber of Commerce and helped them plan future endeavors. I organized a Listening Session to hear what topics community members care about and to discuss current issues. I contributed to the Comprehensive Plan by sharing input during open houses and providing feedback on surveys.

I briefed local officials after a community tragedy on resources they could first assess and then pass on accordingly. I completed the graduation requirements for both Citizens Police and Fire Academy then joined each respective alumni association. I met with decision-making councils throughout the district about civic education initiatives and engagement ideas. I am a Leadership Scott County program participant and a member of the University of Kentucky’s Parents Advisory Council. I am an Honorable Kentucky Colonel, Bronze Star Recipient, and Governors Citation Award Winner. Some words people use to describe me are authentic, creative, driven, perceptive, organized, resourceful, and tenacious.

I am a man of faith and have a servant's heart. I am a resilient person and know how to deal with times of adversity. I like to listen first and speak second but know when to take a stand. I am easy to work with and treat others like I would like to be treated myself. I am not seeking this position for any spotlight or to pass an agenda. However, I can tell you I am not just putting my name in a hat here. I understand what will be required but I want to actively look for ways to contribute in addition to that. Terms of service can be short but a lot can be accomplished when properly planned. I want to create an experience for the constituents they may not have seen before and invest in future candidates to one day work me out of a job.

Vote on or before May 21, 2024. Look for ballot position # 21.
